Mirage Cafe 幻景喫茶 (Standart Release)

Sold out
Sale price$30.00
Description

A limited-edition vinyl created in collaboration with Standart, Mirage Cafe marks the return of Japanese Electronic duo Satoshi & Makoto, previously featured in Issue 34.

Blending ambient electronica and understated groove, the album mirrors the rhythm of a day shaped by coffee—gradual, immersive, and quietly transformative.

Pressed on green vinyl in a limited run of 500 copies—available exclusively through our website.

For Standart Issue 34, we interviewed Satoshi & Makoto and discussed what a sonic expression of coffee might sound like.

Now—two years later, it came to life in a form of a collaborative LP.

Musical backdrop for your coffee rituals

An imaginary cafe, a space of contemplation, connection and inspiration. The partnership with Standart reinforces this conceptual layer, bridging music and coffee culture into a cohesive narrative that feels both intimate and international. The result is an album that unfolds like a slow ritual: warm, enveloping and meticulously detailed.

About the artists

Japanese electrenic duo Satoshi and Makoto rose to prominence in 2017 when they released an album of electronica composed entirely on a Casio CZ-5000 digital synthesizer, and their low-key, minimalist jams have proved to be a popular musical choice for specialty cafes around the world.
