Exclusive to Standart subscribers, in partnership with La Marzocco, we're offering a chance to win a trip to the home of espresso, in the heart of Tuscany.

From the living history of La Marzocco to sensory-shifting tastings and hands-on workshops, Accademia del Caffè Espresso is more than a destination—it's a playground for the coffee-obsessed. Housed in the old La Marzocco factory in the hills of Pian di San Bartolo, it's a place to discover the soul of espresso culture through craft, curiosity, and flavour.

Enter the draw in this link.

Rules

  1. You must hold an active Standart subscription at the time of application to be eligible.
  2. One entry per active subscription. Additional entries from the same subscription will be disqualified. Roasters and coffee shops holding multiple subscriptions may submit one entry per subscription.
  3. The winner must be able to arrange valid travel documents and travel to and from Italy independently.

The prize

Accademia del Caffè Espresso and La Marzocco will provide:

  1. A return economy flight to Florence or Rome
  2. One night's accommodation in Florence
  3. A personalised guided visit to the Accademia del Caffè Espresso—one of La Marzocco's original factories—including the espresso machine museum, library, workshop, and historic café spaces

About the draw

This prize draw is organised jointly by Standart, Accademia del Caffè Espresso, and La Marzocco. The winner will be selected at random by the organisers, whose decision is final. The organisers are not liable for any costs, losses, or incidents outside the prize as described above.

The winner will be contacted by representatives from Standart and Accademia del Caffè Espresso to arrange a suitable travel date. Travel must take place by 31 December 2026.

The winner will be announced on @standartmag, @lamarzocco, and @accademiadelcaffeespresso on 25 May.

Good luck, and see you in Florence!
