- Meticulous research: We value well-structured arguments, compelling narratives, and fresh insights.
- Precision and detail: If you’re obsessed with getting every fact right and every sentence just so, we’re on the same page.
How to pitch us
To make sure we can give your pitch the attention it deserves, please fill in the following form with as much detail as possible:
- Working title – What’s the headline that best captures your idea?
- Approximate word count – We publish pieces of various lengths.
- Sample introductory paragraph – Hook us like you would our readers.
- Links to previously published work – If you’ve written before.
- What will the article argue/say/explore? – Give us a quick summary.
- What specific questions will the article aim to answer? – What are you investigating?
- How will the article do this? – Field research? Personal experience? Interviews? Something else?
- Why is this important/interesting to Standart readers? – What’s the big takeaway?
- Overall structure – A rough breakdown of how the piece will flow.
